Sounds familiar?
Every buyer asks the same question
The same email every week
A buyer asks where the goods are. Someone checks the shipping line's website and writes back. Then the next buyer asks.
Many shipping lines, many websites
Each shipping line has its own website and its own way of showing a container. Checking them all takes time.
Delays reach buyers late
When a vessel is late, the buyer often hears it last, or from someone else.
How it works
Track it once. Your buyers follow it themselves.
- 01
Track your containers
Paste a container, bill of lading or booking number. BerthTime finds the shipping line and keeps the status and ETA up to date.
- 02
Share with your buyer
Connect with your buyer on BerthTime and tag them on a shipment, or on many shipments at once when you import a list.
- 03
Your buyer joins free
Your buyer opens a free account and sees the shipments you share, read-only, with the live status and ETA.
Mini demo
See it in 20 seconds
A factory and its buyer connect, a shipment is tagged, and the buyer's view updates. Example data: nothing is sent.

What you get
Fewer emails
Buyers check the status in their own account instead of asking you.
Delay alerts
Get an email when an ETA moves later or a container is likely to arrive late, so you can tell your buyer first.
Predicted arrival
Next to the shipping line's ETA, BerthTime predicts the arrival from the vessel's position, when the vessel can be followed.
All shipping lines in one list
Every container in one list, whatever the shipping line.
Import from a spreadsheet
Add many shipments at once from a CSV file, and tag your buyers while you import.
Your logo on shared pages
From the Business plan, the tracking pages you share show your company's logo and colours.
Questions from factories and exporters
Does my buyer have to pay?
No. Your buyer opens a free account and sees every shipment you share with them, read-only. Shipments you share do not count against their own plan.
Do I need a paid plan to share?
Yes. Sharing is included in the free trial and in every paid plan. On the Free plan you can still track up to 5 shipments a month and see the shipments others share with you.
What does my buyer see?
Only the shipments you share with them: the status, the events and the ETA. Never your notes, your tags or your other shipments.
Which numbers can I track?
Container numbers, bills of lading and booking numbers. BerthTime finds the shipping line for you. A bill of lading or booking brings in its containers when the shipping line lists them.
