The supplier shares what it already tracks
A factory on a paid plan tags its buyers on the shipments it already tracks. The buyers follow them on a free account: better service, no extra cost.
BerthTime network · Early access
No more tracking links, portals or “where is my container?” emails. Give your company an @handle, connect with the factories and buyers you work with, and tag them on a shipment: they follow it live in their own account.
The network is in early access: we are building it now. Create your account today to be among the first companies on it.
The problem
Factories and buyers both follow the same containers, then copy the news into emails and spreadsheets for each other.
One tracking link per shipment, one portal per supplier. Links get lost in email threads and nobody knows which one is current.
The buyer asks, the factory looks it up and replies. The same question, for every shipment, every week.
The factory tracks the container, then the buyer tracks it again. The same shipment is followed, and paid for, twice.
How it works
Sign up and pick a unique handle for your company, like @shenzhen-lamps. It is how your partners find and recognise you.
Send an invitation. They join free and are connected to you automatically, like a connection on a professional network.
Tag a connection on a shipment, or on many at once when you import them. They follow it live: milestones, ETA and changes.
Mini demo
A factory and its buyer connect, a shipment is tagged, and the buyer's view updates. Example data: nothing is sent.

Who pays
One side pays for the tracking and shares it with the other. You choose which side.
A factory on a paid plan tags its buyers on the shipments it already tracks. The buyers follow them on a free account: better service, no extra cost.
A buyer invites its factories. They create shipments on their free accounts and tag the buyer, who chooses which ones to track on its own plan. When volume grows, a supplier can take its own plan and the tracking moves to its side.
Never twice
A shared shipment is tracked once, on one plan, and every company tagged on it sees the same live data.
